The first round of the 2010 Club Championship was definitley a cold one!  As temperatures dropped to well below freezing on both Saturday and Sunday mornings, the TVKC Officials worked hard to get the circuit clear of the frost and ice.  Trent Valley Kart Club would like to thank all of the competitiors, teams, spectators and Officials for their patience whilst this work took place.  Although there was a slight delay to the proceedings on Sunday morning, the programme got underway and produced some excellent racing - especially given the weather conditions...WELL DONE EVERYONE!
 
TVKC decided to experiment in 2010 with two back-to-back race meetings!  Having received a huge entry for the January Club meeting (over 230 drivers), TVKC were hoping for similar in February.  The Club is pleased to announce that their February meeting has attracted a whopping 269 entries! 
 
In addition to the Club Championship drivers, Trent Valley Kart Club also looks forward to welcoming back the KF Winter Series once more.  Some first class racing is anticiapted as the KF drivers battle it out for the ABkC O Plate.

PARKING UP:
Due to the size of the meeting, space in the main paddock area will be at a premium.  No cars will be permitted in the main paddock area to enable as many people as possible to set-up and utilise the FREE power that will be available during the course of the weekend in that area.  The main gate will be policed to prevent cars from entering the paddock.  We would kindly ask that everyone adhere to this ruling and follow instructions given to them by TVKC Officials.
 
We would remind everyone that rows A & B are strictly for reserved parking only.  Details of the bays can be found here on the website (in the 'Reserved Pit Bay' section) or in the Race Control window upon arrival at the circuit.
 
MEMBERSHIP BOOKLETS:
There may be a few drivers that are racing this weekend that haven't received their membership booklet as yet.  Don't worry!  These packs will be available for collection from Race Control when you sign-on for Saturday practice.
 
RACE ENTRIES:
Want to secure your place on the grid early on ?  Why not send you race entries in early and avoid paying the late entry fee!
TVKC are happy to accept multiple race entries.  So if you want to enter now for the March, April meetings etc - that's fine!  Just make sure the date is clearly marked on the forms.
